Quick verification steps
1. Copy the transaction ID
Get the full transaction ID from your wallet, exchange, payment record, or service history.
2. Search SumExplorer
Paste the transaction ID into the search bar. If indexed, the transaction detail page will open.
3. Check confirmations
Review the block, timestamp, confirmations, contributors, recipients, and amount information.
What confirmations mean
Confirmations show how many blocks have been added after the block containing the transaction.
More confirmations generally mean the transaction is deeper in the public chain history. Different wallets, services, and exchanges may require different confirmation counts.
If the transaction is not found
- Check that the transaction ID was copied completely.
- Wait and search again if the transaction is very recent.
- Confirm the payment was sent on the Sumcoin network.
- Ask the sending wallet or service whether the transaction was actually broadcast.
Important limitation
SumExplorer cannot cancel, accelerate, reverse, resend, or recover a transaction. It only displays public blockchain data that has been indexed from the Sumcoin network.
